Craniosacral Therapy for the Jaw and TMD

The purpose of this class is to learn about the jaw, its structure, function, and dysfunction, and what we can do to help. Jaw problems and temporomandibular joint dysfunction (TMD) affect a large portion of the population and can have widespread influence throughout the body and nervous system. As craniosacral therapists we are in a unique position to have tremendous positive effects on these issues.
I invite you to join this small and personal class for exploration and hands-on learning.
- Learn detailed anatomy of the jaw and related structures
- Locate and palpate key structures on yourself and others
- Understand possible causes and symptoms of jaw problems and TMD
- Practice contacts and techniques for the jaw, hard palate, facial bones, and musculature
- Address related topics including cranial neuralgias and headaches
- Deepen your grounding, centering, and perceptual skills
- Explore and enjoy the journey!
Previous craniosacral training and experience are required.
This class fills quickly, so I recommend early registration.
