This accessible anatomy workshop delves into the study and embodiment of our diaphragms. These exquisite structures offer us direct access to our inner body, fostering expansion, ease, and alignment. Our focus will be on our primary diaphragms - the pelvic, respiratory, thoracic, and cranial.

Come spend an enjoyable afternoon exploring these structures through images, models, hands-on palpation, breath work, and asana. We will integrate our new anatomical knowledge into enlivened embodied experience. All levels welcome.

"Anatomy does not have to be daunting. I love anatomy and I love seeing students transition from fear or overwhelm of the topic, to finding their own excitement and genuine interest."

Ellen Mossman is passionate about the study of anatomy and its application in living movement. She has been a bodyworker since 1985, focusing on orthopedic conditions and trauma recovery. She teaches and practices Craniosacral Therapy, anatomy, and yoga. Ellen is a graduate of The Yoga Room’s Advanced Studies Program, and has been practicing yoga since 1997. She brings inquiry, warmth, and humor to her classes.
